Taking this into account, even though there's a difference of 0.08 poisons/turn (assuming fully booked), I've added a section at the end of this comment for more details. I use a simple calculation of 0.66*1.25 for most discussions as it's close enough and most people can understand what I'm getting at. I attempted a deeper calculation on Monk a couple months ago and he actually averages slightly more than 0.83 ticks per turn. Seems like it doesn't take into account the lack of attack on Foul Play. However since poison stacks apply at the beginning of the turn, you're not likely to ever hit 4 self-debuffs, meaning the bonus turn only ever applies when CB has phased at 50% and is starting to apply debuffs of his own. The heal from the 4th is interesting, but at that point you might as well wait for the 5th stack. That means the first 3 ranks aren't super exciting. Since you're at the CB, you won't be stacking much attack on Occult since defensive stats are stronger. If you only rely on A1 and the passive, you're already outpoisoning Aothar, Kael, and Monk by a long shot at a rate of 1.9 stacks per turn (!!!) At a 70% rate, you're averaging 1.4 stacks per turn just from this passive alone!Ī1 is simple enough, you expect 0.5 stacks per turn casting the A1. A 5% poison lasting 4 turns is effectively 2 stacks of poison per turn. For reference, Aothar is at 1, Monk at 0.83, Kael 0.69, and Yaga at 0.55 (since I don't think he's worth tomes). My above analysis was in terms of 2-turn 5% poisons so we need to convert Occult Brawler's output into the same terms. He seems quite interesting and I think he's one of the best pure poisoners in the game.
